0-6 Years: Strictly not permitted to fly due to Civil Aviation safety regulations.
6-12 Years: Children are welcome, but there is NO discount. Children occupy a full spot in the private basket and are charged the full adult rate.
Pregnant Women: Not permitted to fly.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the high value and exclusive nature of this booking, our cancellation terms are strict but fair.
- Weather Cancellations
If the flight is cancelled by the Civil Aviation Authority due to unsafe weather conditions:
Full Refund: You will receive a 100% refund.
Reschedule: We will prioritize your booking for the next available morning (subject to pilot availability).
- Guest Cancellations
More than 72 Hours (3 Days): 100% Full Refund.
24 to 72 Hours: 50% Refund.
Less than 24 Hours / No-Show: Non-refundable.
FAQ for Private Flights
Q: Can I propose during the flight? A: Absolutely. It is the most popular spot for proposals. Let us know in advance, and the pilot can signal the ground crew to open a banner below as you fly over.
Q: How many people can fit in a private basket? A: We have different sizes of private baskets. Usually, they are for 2 people (couples), but we can arrange private baskets for families of 4 or small groups of up to 8 upon request.
Q: What happens if we are late? A: Balloons must take off at a specific time coordinated by Civil Aviation. Since this is a private transfer, we will try to wait, but if you miss the launch window, the flight cannot be refunded. Please be ready at the scheduled time.

Welcome to CappadociaTur.com. By booking a tour, hot air balloon flight, or any other service through our website or customer service channels, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Booking and Confirmation
1.1 Reservation: A booking is considered confirmed only when a deposit or full payment has been received and a confirmation email/ticket has been sent to you.
1.2 Information Accuracy: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information (names, passport numbers for insurance, hotel details, contact info) at the time of booking. CappadociaTur.com is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information.
- Payment Policy
2.1 Methods: We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfers, and cash payments in local currency or major foreign currencies (USD, EUR, GBP).
2.2 Deposit: A security deposit (usually 30-50%) may be required to secure your reservation, especially for Hot Air Balloon flights during peak season.
2.3 Balance: The remaining balance must be paid prior to the tour start time or upon arrival at our office/hotel pick-up, depending on the specific service agreement.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
Different services have different cancellation rules. By booking, you accept the specific policy for your selected activity.
3.1 Hot Air Balloon Flights
Weather Cancellation: If the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority cancels the flight due to weather conditions, you are entitled to a 100% full refund or a reschedule (subject to availability).
Guest Cancellation:
48 Hours: Full refund.
24 – 48 Hours: 50% penalty.
< 24 Hours / No-Show: No refund (100% penalty).
3.2 Private and Regular Tours
24 Hours: Full refund.
< 24 Hours: No refund.
3.3 Refunds Processing
Refunds are processed back to the original method of payment. Please allow 3-7 business days for bank processing.
- Child Policy
4.1 General Tours: Children aged 0-6 often join daily tours for free (if no separate seat/meal is required). Children 6-12 usually receive a discount.
4.2 Balloon Flights (Strict):
0-6 Years: Not permitted to fly for safety reasons.
6-12 Years: No discount. Full adult price applies to all flight locations (Göreme, Soğanlı, Çat, Ihlara).
- Itinerary Changes & Liabilities
5.1 Alterations: CappadociaTur.com reserves the right to alter itineraries, routes, or departure times due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, road closures, museum renovations). We will always strive to offer an equivalent alternative.
5.2 Third-Party Services: For certain activities (e.g., Balloon Flights), we act as an agent. While we only work with fully licensed and insured operators, we are not liable for the operational decisions of third-party companies.
5.3 Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during tours or transfers.
- Insurance
All our vehicles and tours are insured according to TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) regulations.
Hot Air Balloon flights include comprehensive passenger liability insurance provided by the operator.
We highly recommend that all travelers purchase their own personal travel insurance to cover flight cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.
- Health and Conduct
7.1 Health: Guests must ensure they are medically fit for the activities booked (e.g., hiking in Ihlara Valley). Pregnant women are strictly prohibited from Hot Air Balloon flights.
7.2 Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who behaves in a disorderly, offensive, or dangerous manner. In such cases, no refund will be given.
- Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nevşehir, Turkey.
